Once upon a time, in a place not so far away, there was a story about a wolf and a girl in a red cloak. What you've heard? That's just a bedtime story told to scare little girls into keeping their purity about them. "Red", in her first incarnation, was not a scared little girl at all, but a powerful spellcaster, who discovered that she could do anything she wanted as long as she believed in it.
But with such power came a great price, and the Red began to lose her mind, as the powers became more than she could handle. And as she was about to be doomed to wandering the forest forever, the Red was saved by a great wolf, who picked her up and carried her away to clarity once more.
"Wolf," The Red said, looking at him with great big eyes, "Do you know how to save my life?"
The wolf lowered his great head and pressed his nose to the Red's palm, and though he spoke no words, she could hear him.
"Trust me, and we will do great things. Together."
